What a beautifil butterfly Jimi!!! A great picture!! I think I would have got a bit lower down to take the second picture so that you could capture some of the colours in the butterflies from a more side-ways view. Just a suggestion.

I tried to get a little closer after the first shot and they all took off. They stuck around the area but not all together.

Beautiful Swallowtail; one butterfly specialist reckoned urinating on the ground attracted huge numbers so they must be feeding on minerals as stated by Bill.

Great shots, Bet your glad you posted here now. Think we are more helpful in this section. Lovely closeup. It would be better I think if you put some space between the photos when posting, just my view.
