Nice!
Too bad that squirrel is slightly out of focus..

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Nice, but I don't understand. "Focal length: 200.0mm (35mm equivalent: 555mm) "

200x1.6=320mm

canon weight ;)

I hate back-focusing...almost as much as I hate front-focusing!

I think the slight blur wasn't a focus issue as it was probably more of slight camera shake at 1/20 and pressing the shutter myself.

Photobucket does that when it displays the EXIF. It's retarded. Ignore it. I think the programmers assumed everyone is using a P&S and just plugged in a common P&S sensor size.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Just wondering. Does a shot like that outside need 1250 ISO?

Apparently so, since OP was at f/2.8 and getting 1/20th shutter speed. I would have gone to ISO1600.

considering hes already at F2.8 (widest aperture) and has taken this shot at 1/20th second... then yep... it was obviously quite low light at the time and im amazed that the shot was able to be taken - well done to the op... especially at 200mm!

So already at f2.8, needing max shutter speed... which at iso1250 = 1/20 then the only other thing to do would be flash or even higher ISO like iso1600 to try for 1/30th sec.

Was in a forest late afternood... in shadows? under a tree? quite dark in a situation like that... had I had my 100-400 no chance of the shot :)

So the answer is yes... it needed to be 1250

I figured this was so because of the reasons you listed but just wanted to check. Thanks!

here's the Exif:

Exif looks all wrong. Unless you cropped the image, it should be 800x533, 35mm "eqiv" (should be field of view not equiv.) should be 360mm, sensor width should be about 18mm.

And it looks like you needed iso3200. 1/20 shutter speed at 200mm is far too slow a speed. Plus your image is horribly front focused.

It's cropped. Right click on it and see for yourself. FOV equivalent is actually 320mm, not 360. The width of the CMOS sensor is 22.2mm. Like I said before, Photobucket doesn't read EXIF correctly.
