1. It's nice but doesn't really do much for me...maybe because it's cropped funny?? I don't know
2. Great shot, the lines lead me right to the focus of the picture.
3. Awesome capture, great emotion and exposure. I would've stepped to your right a tiny bit to get more of his face.
4. Amazing shot, great use of flare and great composition.
5. Love the emotion in this one.
6. Great attempt, but I would've liked to see the whole bouquet and some of her neckline.
7. Good shot, but I would've liked a litte more saturation in the sky.
8. There is a shadow on his suite that's making me feel weird. I would've tried a different anle too, but still a nice shot.
9. Great shot, but did you over process this in lightroom? There is a lot of banding.
10. Nice exposure, and great composition.
11. Like this shot
12. This is the money shot but can you do something with the sky?
13 & 14. Good shots
15. Love this shot as well, but the flowers are a little blown on my monitor.
16. Great shot, but her face looks a little squished.

Great series Bryan as usual you really do have a nack for this. Keep up the work and you're going to be great at this.

Thanks Mike for the photo-by-photo critique! I love when I get these!

Thanks for the tips also. The sky I lost on a few of the photos, it was very bright and unfortunately, blown out in my wide shots.

There have been a few comments on the flower one, so, here is an alternative:

And here are a few different angles/crops/compositions of the bridge shots:

I like these much better...The flower one now has more emotion to it!

The other two I like better as well, have you ever tried use AEB? then rendering a little HDR to bring out the highlight?

If you have the raw, try making a copy where the sky is visible and merging it in PS or photomatix.

I have done a lot of HDR stuff in my day, I use photomatix. Not sure if I would want to use it on a wedding photo to be honest. I don't know ... maybe i'll give it a shot.

I was able to save some of the sky in #7. I was going to go HDR, but I was able to use my normal technique to save it :)

Thanks!

Wow Bryan these are awesome!!!! You rock too!

Here is my C&C
1. Awesome! Colours are beautiful and you can see her ring!
2. How the heck did you accomplish that. It looks like all natural light, back lit, reflection...how the heck man?!
3. Very cute
4&5. Love it
6. like everyone else said, more neck line, lower flowesr...
7&8. Beautiful
9. Love it but it looks rescued. You can see striations over the whole shot. That being said I think the couple will still love it and won't even notice that it looks rescued.
10&11. Composition is beautiful here and totally works! 11 is my favorite of all!
12. Do you have one without flare. I like this one but the flare is distracting in this one.
13. least favorite, mt eye is drawn to that ugly ceiling and the couple get lost at the end of the tunnel. but I love the idea in a church or outside.
14&15. Loving it!
16. I think the bride won't like her face but I like the shot. There is something off about her expression/colour.

Lovely work, the couple will be very pleased.

The only down fall with you 2 shooting together is there are too many good ones to choose from!

I really like these, the one thing I don't like is the golf hole flag on one of the pics 11 I think. other than that, great stuff.

oh and also, I don't mind the white sky in any of them. My eye goes straight to them so I bet the couple won't even notice or care.

Oh, and the other downfall is if you are shooting together, there is no one for me to shoot with:(

Thanks for the individual comments Denise!

#2 I exposed for the background (i.e. outside) and then illuminated the room with my 580 + stofen :)

#6 Did you see the other shot I posted just a few posts up?

#9 Wasn't necessarily rescued, I just brought the Fill Light up a bit, and, because they were pretty dark to begin with, I got some banding. I'll see if I can fix it, cause I love the shot!

#12 Oops! I cloned the flare out of another one that I was going to post and then switched to this one at the last moment. I'll fix theh flare and update the original photo. Good call :)

#16 Yeah I'm not LOVING the face either. She kept giving me funny facial expressions lol

It was awesome hanging out with you last night, can't wait to do that TTD session!

Good call on that one Gareth! I didn't even see it. Thanks, I'll clone it out and update the original
