You're welcome, I presumed they were golfers.

Not sure to be honest. The ceremony/reception was at the golf course, so maybe, LOL

Here it is, blow by blow, only for you my friend!
1. Love this, everything about it. Beautiful color on the flowers & skin. The ring & fingernails balance it out perfectly for me. The crop is great too, I like that you can see a bit of her arm so the upper half of the shot isn't just a white blob.
2. This is so cool! First time I've seen such a well done shot like this! Love it, great idea! I'll copy!;)
3. Great prop, emotion, pose & color, but the blotches of light on her shoulder drive me crazy! What can you do tho?
4. Fantastic! Great angle, crop, colors, sky is beautiful, love the flare in this!
5. Awhhhh! Perfect Bryan! I like these kind of shots with the couple set more to one side of the frame too.
6. Don't care for this much. The color in the flowers are great, but I don't care for the crop. It just looks odd, almost distorted to me. Her left arm, hand, ring seem a bit too blown for the rest of the image.
7. Very nice shot. How about a slight left tilt to straighten?
8. Love this but my attention keeps getting drawn to that branch looking thing on the left side.
9. Like it, the flare is pretty cool. I'm not so into flare because I usually make a mess with it. What did you do to get the net/screen type texture look to it?
10. Beautiful! Great composition, light, color AND they have feet and no trees growing out of their heads!:p
11. Like this also, they are a bit small but IT WORKS! Get rid of the blue flag.
12. Nice shot. Wow! The more I look at this one, the more I really like it. My first thoughts were the sky is to gray/white, but with looking at the detail and colors in the tree trunk and the leaves on the overhead branches, it all comes together nicely! Cool artsy shot!
13. Angle and DOF is good.
14. I like his arm and hand with ring, but that tan blob in the corner ruins it for me.
15. VERY CUTE!
16. I'm not real crazy about the overhead angle. I think it works okay with kids but not very flattering for adults.
ALTERNATIVES:

YES! YES! and YES! In the last shot, the circle of light on his cheek is a bit distracting, can you blend the hard edge just a bit?

Thats my .02 worth! GREAT JOB BRYAN!:D

Wow! Thanks so much Kathy!

#6 - I posted an alternative above. I don't like the original much anymore either lol

#9 - Brought up fill light to get rid of the contrast. It suffered from a bit of banding, but I like it still.

#16 - I think I agree with you on this, but I wanted to try it anyway lol

Thanks again for the photo-by-photo critique! I LOVE C&C like this, this is how we learn :)

I'm sorry I don't have time to comment on each photo, but, honestly, I think this is some of your best. I love your use of lines, and the composition is great, as well as exposure. I think the first bouquet shot is the strongest, really good (not crazy about #6). #2 really shows your creativity, #5 is just adorable, and would look great as a 5x7 so it's not quite as centered. 7,11, &12 are beautiful. 13 I would like if the ceremony area was prettier. He looks so happy in #9, I love it, but maybe do a little fixing under her chin. I like the leaves in 16, but she looks a little strange, and I'm not sure about the composition or the back of her dress coming to a point like that.

hey. nice shots! Great work as usual! It looked like the perfect time of day to be shooting! The sun is low and casting warm. There are too many pics to give C&C on each one so I'll just comment on a few..

5 is great, but too central. I'd move them more to the right.

6 not too crazy about head decapitation personally. I know it's hot nowadays but I think it'll look weird in 20 years. It would have been a lovely photo with her face in there too!

9 really like the way it's set up, but it's a tad funny as it looks like she's blinked. Most people gaze into someone else's eyes, not someone's eyelids (like the groom is doing).

12 also looks like they're too central to me. The scene does not provide symmetry to use a central composition, nor does his pose work for a central composition. If they were posed just like they are, but him on the right and her on the left, and then placed further left into the frame, and a touch closer to the lens, it would be primo. The tree is placed wonderfully in the frame though. Of course, it is difficult to do all this as a second because you never get the choice angle. Love the use of leaves too.

15 she has a weird expression. Kinda like she's thinking... "hmpf... the florist messed up on the colour of this gerbera here..."

16 could be better if both hands where on the flowers, and if her dress behind her was fanned out with more care. Her head is also leaning too far forward for this type of pose which makes it harder to look at you, also causing forehead wrinkles. Remember, straight back, straight neck, = relaxed forehead. And even then, some people still need to be told to relax the forehead.

I like the use of sun flares (I use 'em all the time too). Just say NO to HDR on wedding photos. (Use it on cars or architecture) Use well placed flashes instead.

I think these are a very nice set of photos. There are small details that are missed but you'll pick them up the more you do... eventually you won't even have to think about them because they'll be so automatic. And it doesn't matter how experienced you are... everyone misses details now and then! Great work! And excellent processing, as usual!!

Congrats on page 3! That sure didn't take long!

Thanks for the C&C Lloyd!

For the most part, I cover all the grounds and make sure I get a nice variety of compositions/angles/etc, so let me see if I can find fixes to my mistakes in my original post.

#15 and 16 I think I agree with you though. Good points on both :)

Thanks again for the critique Lloyd, it means a lot!

Wow Bryan!! I think we sorta almost got exactly the same shots at this wedding, I know in the past we sorta worked different angles and got some different looks, but I'm going through my images from yesterday and they are almost identical angles and everything! LOL.

Well I guess that means you don't need to edit most of them cause I've already done it all haha ... there wasn't much for us to work with in all reality. We didn't have much time and things were kind of all over the place. We did what we could. Still had fun tho :)

Nothing special to be honest. Proper exposure, I almost ALWAYS use some sort of flash, then I process in Lightroom. No photoshop to any of these.
