I don't own one and have no idea if this has been posted here before so here goes.

It explains the best settings for the camera - any comments if these help the guys with problems ???

Thats a good link for those who keep thinking that the AF problems are the camera and not user malfunction.

I suppose its the case of the carpenters tools are the problem.:rolleyes:

btw, to answer your question, that guide has been posted before and it did not work for many people that have AF issues. the guy who wrote the guide (Les) is an amazing photographer but he said that his camera had no issues at all from the first day he had it.

I just can't see how all these cameras have these problems and I have yet to hear someone in Japan experience the same problems that everyone else is talking about. I have looked around some similar Japanese web pages and most problems refer to user error. Go figure? Maybe Japan got all the good copies however unlikely I find that to be.
