Believe it or not - I used a 2mp Kodak DCS-520 for Low Res P&S work for about 2 years:lol:
This was before I was able to pick up my 20D (used). I had been a long time EOS Film shooter and I picked up the Kodak to use my eos lenses and learn digital photography with.
The 'scoop' with the dcs520 is that they are EOS-1n's Kodak modified into the first digital SLRs with Color Review LCDs. Very fun cameras to play with. If the scene is "right" the 2mp image photoshops up into a fairly presentable 8x10.
I also had a G1, but I'm a very odd duck and have no qualms using a 'howitzer' of a camera to shoot 'party' pix! So I used the g1 for video snapshots mostly.

G9 for me, and an SD870IS for the wife! She loves hers, especially since I got her a pink case and matching pink strap.

Canon SD10. its Quick Shot feature works amazingly well for street shooting, clubs, etc. it has held up well for nearly 5 years, hopefully it will last forever but if not then i will pick up a nib SD20

my G7 was going to back up my XSi but decided to let it go because i found it slow, which is the reason i'm getting a dslr.
