I use PickPic
.
I looked into every option available (regardless of cost) and went with PickPic, for whatever that's worth.

They were paying EXTRA shipping, and had to wait over TWICE as long to get their prints. Also, because everything comes out of sunny and humid California... many of their products did not adjust to the dry edmonton climate well at all! Books were warping like crazy. Nasty stuff.

All it does is take the orders and makes the reports so YOU can send the order to YOUR preferred lab. So all it is, is software, not a full service site. -Lloyd

Toll free number so I really have no idea where I called. Ah, I see. Thanks! I kind of like that, though, getting to choose your own lab. *Gear: 5D Mark II, 2 5D's, 30D, 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4, 24mmL 1.4, 45mm TS-E, 16-35mmL 2.8 II, 70-200L 2.8 IS, 100mm 2.8 macro, 15mm 2.8 fisheye, 580EXII, 580EX, 430EX, AB 800, AB Ring flash, lots of PW's, stands, umbrellas, etc.

I kind of like that, though, getting to choose your own lab. yeah, I decided that was the best way to go. The last straw with pictage came when a customer of mine bought a proof album for $600. Sounds like a good chunk of change... but after all the fees and crap... I got my cheque for... $105. yeeesh... what a lousy return. The print sales numbers were similar. I soon found that fulfilling orders myself doesn't take up HUGE amounts of time once you get a system down, and *I* control the quality, and they get their prints much faster, and the return is much higher. -Lloyd

I dabbled with oscommerce for a few weeks for another project and it was the most bloated, ugly piece of software I've ever worked with. It wasn't too bad because I had spent quite a bit of time on another website. Thus the hell was already passed through. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here
