I can't open it in any if RAW programs I have. Lightroom 1.2, ACE, Latest DPP.
So is there any program that support it?

Interestingly, DPP can read the EXIF but like is this:

Maybe Canon EOS K215 is the prototype name of the EOS-1Ds Mark III?

It is pre-production model. Also notice Split metering in the EXIF.

and how did you get a preproduction model?

only cs3 can read the 1D3 raw format....post processing apps often need an update before they recognize the newest files.

considering the fact that the camera is not out yet, it is really not a surprise that all the existing softwares do not support it just yet.

k215 is the internal model number for it. the only thing that'll be able to open the RAWs from it will be canon software.

so you both now claim to have 1DsMKIII pre-production cameras...even though you're both shooting 30d/40d's? did i miss something here? how did you line that up with canon? friends with old man westfall?

There is a user on Flickr I came across that shot some test shots with the 1Ds in Tokyo, but said the same thing about it not being supported.

So as of now I guess there isn't anything you can do.

Cosworth had his hands on one, said the same thing about the EXIF model number. He shot JPEG though, which was a slightly more intelligent thing to do considering RAW is not supported ......

It'd be the only time I wouldn't mind shooting jpeg. Until the raw is openable.
