When reading about camera bodies...

I have found that I really prefer this website layout ALOT better than dpreview when doing research and overall reading...do you agree?

If you're comparing this forum with the forums on dpreview, then yes, this is a whole lot better. Anyone who thinks a black screen with bright text is a good idea needs a dope slap.

But the reviews on dpreview are the best, most comprehensive I've ever seen, notwithstanding the fact that I don't always agree with their conclusions.

i have used the site, only when i bought the camera in question, do like the layout, but needs a fresh layout, as thats been going for years, as to this layout, same old forum layout, but hey, how to improve things here?

Well my slightly biased opinion says yes.

I find their format very difficult to read, and it only contributes to my dislike of the dpreview forum members in general.

DPreview's forum layout is horrible. The colors are bad and I can't read a thread continuously without clicking a million times. I usually read only the reviews, which are very good.

POTN forums layout is much, much better than DPreview’s.
But, as already mentioned, for product reviews, DPreview is the best.

I can't help you with the colors, but if you click on "flat view" at the top of the thread, then you can read all of the posts on one page without having to click on each one.

I agree that the colors over there are hard on the eyes. As a noob, I also feel like this forum is much friendlier.

I hate having to click the flat view button. I really prefer the POTN forums to the DPreview forums. The black is terrible!

Another POTN vote! Although there is lots of valuable information to be had at dpreview as well.

I have done a ton of reading here and I think this is the easiest way to do it.......

I'll look at their reviews occasionally and will use the side-by-side comparison tool sometimes. I can't stand their forums.
