Is there anything specific that you are having trouble with? Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb

But, to get to the specific questions, you'll have to read the Instruction Manual first. Actually, I already read it set the CF but had some confusion, so I cleared all the settings. I was thinking maybe we should select a CF discussion and tear it appart, any comments?

For example when enabled C.Fn-7, mirror lockup, causes shooting modes to behave differently. When in one shot or continuous mode, first full press of shutter causes mirror to flip up and stay up. The next press takes the picture. In timer mode full press activates 2 second timer and then automatically flips mirror, locks it and then takes the picture. The purpose of mirror lockup is that at long exposures movement of the mirror can cause camera shake and locking mirror before exposure eliminates this. Also, 2 second timer is invaluable as it let´s you get your hands of the camera before long exposure (Oh yeah, use tripod ). Otherwise you´ll most likely would cause some camera shake while letting go during the exposure.thanks for that tit bit
