This was shot using the late afternoon sun as a fill/hair light, with the main light a bit below eye level in front of the model.

CC is requested - I'm here to learn!

Its looking a bit soft, might be intent or compression tho?
Love the colors, light and all...my only nitpick would be maybe the nailpolish (yeah I said NITPICK! LOL), its clashing just a tad, anyway to tone down the color on those or make them plainer/fit with the color theme? Otherwise its VERY nice!!!

Very nice! Like the colors, lighting & composition. What kind of main light did you use?

I agree with the finger nail color. It's a bit detracting because it's very close to her face, but not very. Maybe the color of her eyeshadow would blend more. I also don't think I like the feather blending with her hair or being under her chin.

Do you have other shots?

The nails jumped at me too, but the girl is lovely! Did you do any post processing on her skin?

Thank you all for the comments and feedback.

The nail polish could be changed to a different color... it was what she was wearing, and the MUA attempted to tie it in to the eye makeup, though perhaps it was too far of a stretch and might be worth a tweak.

The main light was from a SB-28 fired into a 42" white umbrella.

The image is a bit soft - here is a tighter crop on her eye. This is unsharpened. I honestly hadn't noticed that!

There was no skin-processing done on the model, though the soft focus and the assistance of the make-up artist likely helped!
