Besides, Crumplers are still may fav. Decided to keep the 7MDH.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

It isn't that big if you don't have that gear in there.

Seriously, you will love this bag, it molds, conforms, ........

and not to start a fight with anyone else, but it isn't a padded BOX like a Lowepro Nova;)

Maybe they meant 1-2 P&S cameras, OR 1-2 filters, OR a flash unit, OR film and accessories.

:)

heheh had to edit a tiny bit :D

HAHA, at least the padded boxes retain shape while working out of them! Bags that mold and twist make the cameras difficult to pull out and and replace while working fast in the field. (Especially when the camera has a large L bracket and other random stuff on it.)

I'm down with any kind of bag though...as long as it does what I need.

Wrong ... the Domke is a favorite amongst press firstly, because it is fast to get into and out-of, secondly because it holds a lot and lastly because it is comfy.

I've always wondered what your avatar was. Why the google and mask? You at a fire? Or asbestos plant?

Gear: Kodak Brownie and homemade pin-hole cameras. Burlap sack for a bag.

Its very cool. I have two OD green Domke's. The cherry is neat looking. I wonder if the dye used in it would bleed onto clothing.

On a side note, I havent had my Domkes very long, but I will say that they have worn in rather nicely. The canvas is soft and supple and a real joy to wear around for long days.

I have the Fx-3 and an F4.

That is what I thought, but the dimensions seem bigger that he lists like an f-4

Did you ever see a cherry one Jon?

I'm almost tempted to bid, but I think it is gonna go pretty high, unlike the black on I got for a "buy it now" of $59.99 and free ship.

That looks sweet. Not a fan of the EOS1 patch but I like the bag.

I saw some nice prices on some of the Domke bags on eBay. I might have to consider that when I buy my next bag.

Probably will. My blue one did, ages ago when it was new (when they still made them). No problem (because they're light colours) with my sand and grey ones.

The interior pocket arrangement also gives it away. The two canvas "loops" on the side of the main compartment. He may have outside dimensions listed.

Never have, and also tempted, but I wonder why I'd use it when I have a perfectly serviceable (and inconspicuous) sand one.
