Group,
What is the best way to remotely fire my 5D? I have Pocket Wizzards for my flashes. Can they be used to trigger the camera?
Thanks,
Ted

You plug the remote into the body, the switch has a miniplug port that you jack to the receiver. Done. people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional

You will need a motor drive cable or what they call a pre trigger (this will keep camera in the awake mode) connected to PW and remote camera and use another PW to trigger by using the test button to fire remote. Here is the link PW cables http://www.pocketwizard.com/HTML/accessories.asp Nikon D4 and 60 2.8D Micro, 24-70 2.8G, 70-200 2.8G VRII, 200-400 VRII, SB800, SB600, Pocket Wizards, 4x WL-1600, Quantum Turbo 2x2, Sekonic 358 meter, TT AS, Takeoff, Belt System
