Well after much debate, and losing the ebay auction I decided to order the 400D with kit lens from B&H and Im excited!

Playing around with my H2 while taking pics of my laptop so I could sell it was a big deal changer for me. No matter what light, I was having a hard time getting perfect focus for the pics. Outside the camera works flawlessly. I guess the SLR bug, and my gf nagging me to take pics of her finally got to me

Now I have to decide what my lens upgrade route is going it be

B&H has alot of confirmation buttons for purchasing! I thought each one was the last and contemplated for nearly 10 mins on each. Did anyone else do the same with their purchases?

I wish I had a camera to take pictures of my H2 so that I could throw it up on ebay in the meantime!

Congrats! I have a 350D and love it. I've done everything from weddings, football games, landscapes and stock photography with it and it produces great pictures. So I'm sure the 400D will be fantastic. Have fun with it!

Congratulations! It's a great camera and you'll be very happy with it. I ordered mine from B&H as well. Before you start pondering lens upgrades, give the kit lens a thorough try. I've read multiple posts saying that the IQ is actually quite good.

Besides, you'll find that your wallet will start travelling in other directions. Flash, grip, tripod, etc.
