hey guys
to further my automotive photography, i recently picked up a tokina 12-24. i have seen a lot of pics where the front end of a car is accented with the lens, while the back is small and stretched.
here is an example of what i am talking about:
however, the closest i can get to producing something like that is this
granted, the angles arent exactly the same, im trying to figure out what im doing wrong. why cant i achieve a simliar effect?
the only thing i can think of in the example picture i posted, is that the car was actually located on the bottom corner of the frame, then it was cropped so the distortion is more pronounced. other than that, i cant think of any other reason... is it because of the whole difference between the 12mm and 10mm?
