Something different for a change: The Soft Machine. Quite a legendary band in the 70ies I'm told ;)

Just a quick selection of images, not made a final selection yet.
All images here (external link).

Equipment used: 1D2, 35/2.0; 28-105 (other primes still at Canon :(); 80-200L

All images through LightRoom. But after reading this (external link) article about sharpening. Makes quite a big difference...
Manyk SRS was used as a final step.

#1: The Soft Machine: A bit soft, because I had to use the zoom...

Not a bad set for Atak lighting. It's a pity #5 the drummer is so centered. The sharpening on a couple of the others, #3 & #4 for instance, looks almost overdone. I will, however, be looking at the LR article you referenced ... thank you.

Thanks for that Lightroom sharpening link, Rene. It sure clears up a lot of confusion I had.

Nice shots here, too.

I I'm curious what sharpening settings you used with Lightroom. I'm always afraid to sharpen high ISO shots until after noise reduction, for fear of making the noise worse.

There were some people in the way. I did tilt the shot a bit on purpose ;)

I have to look into the sharpening in more detail.

Welcome ;)

Made a final selection, so a bit more images in the gallery (external link) now, for those interested.

Posted images may also have changed a bit, since I'd lost the original conversion settings...

(Forgot to convert them to DNG last time)

Nice series. 3,4,6 are my favourites. I'm still waiting to do something and post it here.
There is almost nothing (concerts) happening right now. But, soon everything is starting
all over again.
