It's not bad. Doesn't say "Wow" to me. Her expression has left much to desire.

The lighting is fine. But it seems really flat and lacking some serious pop.

Lighting couldnt be any better.

Is this a cropped photo? by any chance?

As mentioned already, the lighting seems flat and uninteresting to me. I would go with more dramatic lighting. It looks too much like a "studio/commercial shot," rather than a "wedding shot," if that makes any sense. JMHO.

I disagree.

The lighting is very flat, and they have hotspots all over their faces which makes it very unappealing.

Where and why did you use 6 strobes?

But the majority of USA receptions are at night and if you look at the photos here, you'll learn how to construct your lighting much better.

I agree with the comments above, the photo is poorly posed, flat and the lighting has been constructed incorrectly (especially since you say you used 6 strobes in a studio). I just did a quick search for 'lighting techniques' and there are some great tips that you could really benefit from.

I like the comment about Miami Vice. Couldn't agree more.

Good luck with your next shoot. Hopefully, it will be better for you.

you could have done the same thing with one, maybe two lights. if you really used six you were wasting your time.
