Just curious about this camera. A Google search turns up nothing.

What an odd thing, as the seller seems to indicate it looks based on the EOS 650/620 design but extremely modified for a purpose. If it is for ididology I would think was designed to be rigged with a fixed focus lens system. If it was a pre production prototype then surely Canon would have destroyed it or put in their museum.

A curio only now, only worth having if it was being given away :D

Looks like it would have been used as an adjunct to opthalmic or other imaging equipment, where a beam-splitter would be used to send the image to both a viewing screen and the camera. In this type of situation you wouldn't need to use the viewfinder.
