I need some suggestions or hints in order to enable this function.
I selected EF D ; however, when I looked through the viewfinder I didn't see the grid at all so what am I doing wrong

You need to buy the EF-D screen to get the grid lines. The function then tells the camera how to adjust metering for that screen. Jon

Oct 10, 2007 13:39 | #5 oh thanks I was getting all excited since my first try to enable the grid I went through the other function in the main menu, later I found out that is was only applicable on LiveView.

I got another dumb question, so let's say that I buy the screen with the Grid. In order to enable I have to set the CF. I was and maybe I am under the impression that once you put the screen the grid lines will be shown
