I'm buying a used canon lens...the warranty card is blank.
Is the warranty valid ,even though I am not the original buyer and I have no bill of sale?
Thanks
Mike

I drove my 30D to Canon repairs in Irvine and they just wanted to see the receipt to check the date. I don't think I turned in a warranty card when I bought it and they certainly didn't seem to check for it either. Gallery: http://tomyi.smugmug.com/

According to CPS, the warranty card is just a marketing gimmick. It means nothing. The vendors throw it away if its filled out. There is absolutely no need for them.
