help on this 3 lens 24-70,85/1.2 ,70-200/4 is

hello people!! i am happy to find this forum!! so i am going to become a photographer, so far i choose 40d(planning to buy the new 5d in 1 year i need 2 bodys anw) .

but cos i dont have the money right now i must choose 2 of the 3 lens, the 3 lens 6-12months:cry:

24-70 i think is the first one
85 i really love the photos ive seen so far!

70-200 or 85???

weddings most for this year

any help?????

70-200 will give you more range for what you want to do. I added the 85 to my kit recently and it is excellent, but two bodies one with my 24-70 and one with my 70-200 for a wedding give you great coverage.

Oh yeah...check out the wedding forum if you haven't already. I'd also recommend getting a flash.
Hopefully you can take advantage of some canon rebates (depending on where you live).

I agree. The 85 1.2 is an incredible lens, but you would have more versatility with the 24-70 and 70-200. If you don't already know that you would make use of the 85 1.2 I would start with the zooms, in fact, I have made the same choice myself. Good luck!
