Is this a good price for a brand new 40D? $1189.99

A thrid party vendor is selling a brand new 40D for this price. Should I go for it?

Does anyone have a 40D with the 24-70L lens combo? If so can you post a sample picture unedited? I want to see how sharp this body and lens combo is.

The 40D is in short supply. Right now, reputable sellers charge $1299. There's probably a catch to your deal. I wouldn't go for it.

The 24-70L is an excellent lens. . It will work as well on a 40D as on any of Canon's bodies. There are plenty of sites that have reviews. Take a look at

The only real downside to the 24-70L is price and size. Given that it works like a 38-112, it may not be the most useful focal length range for a 40D so you should consider how you are plan to use it.

Hey, www.theimagingworld.com has 40D's for $1249.99 50 bucks more and i know for sure that you'll get your item, with no catch. excellent place to buy from and usually cheaper then anyplace else.

If you're a NAPP member you can get a 40D at PC Mall for $1229.
