The kit lens is ok, but better glass is needed, for capture like this. Dad can be blurred a bit, but the child, especially his eyes, have to be tack sharp. The white plastic part is distracting too. I like he idea. Practice, practice, and practice some more, and when you think you have got it right, start over.

I love the idea. 7D, 85mm 1.8, 70-200mm 4.0 (non-IS), 24- 105mm 4.0, 430 EX (2X), and assorted useful accessories. (Some not so useful too!)
