Great concept, tough pose. The kit lens is ok, but better glass is needed, for capture like this. Dad can be blurred a bit, but the child, especially his eyes, have to be tack sharp. The white plastic part is distracting too. I like he idea.


Practice, practice, and practice some more, and when you think you have got it right, start over.

I'd give it another go. They won't always be that close, especially during the teen years. I love the idea.

You could try softening Dad's nose so the whole image is "softer". The image doesn't quite make it because the nose has the sharpest focus. See if you can reduce the shadows on their foreheads too.

Yoy are definately on the right track. That pose is a little slice of history in their lives. Keep it up.
