1D3 AF points

On page 84 of the owners manual I followed instructions to change the AF points. I can't seem to find how to put it back.

Just keep scrolling through the points until you get back to the center. Or if you haven't set a specific point, which it doesn't sound like you have, push the multi controller and it will go back to center. I'm not trying to be mean but you need to read the rest of the manual. ;-)a

You use the joystick button to switch between single and all focus points (just like page 84 says ;-)a ).

Push the AF point button and turn the little wheel on top of the camera until the entire outer ring of AF points is illuminated. You need to be looking through the view finder when you do it. Once the ring is illuminated you are in all focus points. Then you can switch between the center focus point and all focus points by pushing the joystick.

when all the outer points are lit - is this the RING OF FIRE as well?

It is - only the outer ring lights up to show all points are active like the mk2.
