Well my yearbook staff has just made the change to Indesign this year from our old publishers proprietory program. Since most of us have never used Indesign I am looking for a few books to get for the staff as well as some books on photoshop for the photo editor who will replace me once I move over christmas break. I am hopeing for anybooks that are by the same authors or the same layout of teaching methods.

Brad,

P.S. We are using CS3.

Try InDesign CS3 for Macintosh & Windows (Visual Quickstart Guide) by Sandee Cohen from Peachpit Press. The one I have is for CS2 and I like it better than the manual that comes with the software package. This is the book that my wife's employer ( a large newspaper) got for their graphics people to supplement training classes. She brought it home once and I liked it enough that I got a copy for the house.
