Hi,
I received my 40D last Thursday and I am wondering if I will be able to use my OLD MACRO equipment with it.

I have:
Canon Macro Lens Mount Converter FD-EOS (the one w/o the glass) Canon 35mm Macro Lens
Canon 50mm Macro FD Lens
Canon Photo Micro unit F
Canon Auto Bellows.

I also posted this to the digital slr site and to the MACRO site. I would really like to get some input before I try this. I don't want to cause any damage to my new camera, but it would be terrific to be able to use it with my Macro gear and with my Microscope.

Thanks for any imput.
Ruth

Hi Ruth, welcome to the forum. It should be fine. The only thing is you won't be able to go out to infinity with it, but I guess that shouldn't matter if you're only thinking of macro work.

Mark.
