Northern Harrier

i was out shooting today and because of some gear changes, i was forced to use my wife's rebel XT. i do like this little camera but i do not think that it is the best choice for action shooting after using 1D's for so long anyway, i didn't get any keepers from the shoot but i kinda like this one despite the quality..

Nice shot! I'm not convinced that having the top of the line equipment necessarily means better photos. Anyway, I like this one.

Nice capture, Blonde. I'm really partial to this species as I spent a lot of time trying to snag good shots of them over the past month or two. (I posted 3 shots in a thread a week or so ago). I know how hard they are to get close to for a decent shot. Nice job.

i am convinced after today but only to a certain point. my keeper rate with the XT was something like 1% and i know that i would have done way better with the mkII. i think that the quality would have been the same but getting the shots is easier if you have a camera that is more suitable for action (faster AF)

Still a nice shot Snir, better than any I have of this bird. Looks like a female too.

Could be juveniles?
