Hi everyone,

Does anyone use the Canon TC-DC58B Tele Converter on their S1, S2, S3 or S5 IS camera and if so, do you have a problem with focusing? I was told by a local camera shop when I inquired about the teleconverter, that it throws off the autofocus and it doesn't focus properly.

Thanks, Bo.

IIRC there's, at least in the S3, a menu setting to use if you've got an auxiliary lens mounted.

Same goes for the S5.

It sounds like you were talking to an idiot that knows nothing about an S-Series camera or he didn't have one in stock and wanted to sell you something else.

Well, I bought the Canon Tele Converter and I love it. I was having some focus issues but I think I have resolved that. I sure do appreciate all the input.

Thanks a bunch everyone!
