I am wondering about the CFn lll -1 Auto Focus/Drive on the 40D

What setting are people using?

I shoot alot of birds in flight and I have set to Focus search off.

Hi Brittany...
I also shoot birds and a lot of motorsport....I have set my CFn III to search on.. this in my opinion is the best way ..the other way if it cant focus it just stops trying..by then you bird image is no longer there...too late...

Canon 40D
580 ex
canon 70-200mm 2.8 L is
canon 17-85mm ultrasonic is
