taken today at the wedding of megan and adam in groveland, ma. their song was "monster mash" and their cd player kept crapping out as they were starting their first dance, this shot came from that waiting period to get the cd player working. c/c thanks.

really nice capture ..would love to see a little bit more air at the top but besides that great lighting...was it off camera flash or natural window light

thanks for the comments. it's actually the frame that cuts off the hair at the top, and the shadow at the bottom. i cropped the picture slightly, that probably doesn't help either.

You did an excellent job with the right amount of fill flash for not damaging the other lights / shades.

Well done. :)

Regarding the cropping, you didn't cut the feet off. :)
Seriously, it's really fine. If you see so many other great images where parts are cropped off and nobody complains.

Nice use of fill flash. I'm sure it's a shot that will bring back memories.

Nice amount of background detail. Enough to know the atmosphere without distracting the viewer.

Great Picture! Looked like a fun couple and a great wedding...I do wonder who that guy could be possibly calling during the first dance.

it wasn't actually the first dance yet, they had started it, but their "boom box" was having some trouble, so that's them waiting for the music to start. maybe that excuses the phone call? thanks for the comment.
