Hi everybody,

here are the first photos I post on here.

Wednesday I shot a friend's wedding (a civil marriage that is) and on Friday her celebration.
So here go the photos from the celebration.

Comments are eagerly awaited :-)

I hate to be rude but is that a kitchen knife with a rose taped to it?

Yes, that is a rose taped to a knife... well it wasn't my idea anyway however I think it gave an interesting twist to cutting the cake.

And you're not being rude ;-)a

Here's a photo from the actual wedding. I think it comes out a little better. I also converted it to sRGB from AdobeRGB before uploading.

What do you think?

white balance looks a lot better in the last one. The others are a heavy yellow/brown. The dance photos look fun and should be appreciated.

Thanks viewing-the-invisible. I really like the dance photos, too. But they do come out bad here. I guess it's because I didn't convert them to sRGB and uploaded the Adobe RGB file. I converted the last one to sRGB and it looks better. Granted, it is brighter per se but the images above had that certain kind of look to them which is a little darker that made them interesting in my opinion. I have to admit that I don't like the color rendering of these images here either.
