Was I the only one that loved my 30D/5D's quick controller to pick the autofocus point?

After several weeks with my Mark III, this has to be one of the primary things I don't like about it... I liked choosing the autofocus point with the quick controller - it was MUCH faster than any other method. I realize it would be limited to only the outer ring - but that'd be fine.

the wheels work fine, and using stick to get around 19 points would be impossible. just get some practice in.

It is probably a "who moved my cheese" mentality...

But you can spilt the inner and outer points so it isn't 19... and that would allow use of that joystick to very quickly select it. So no it isn't impossible and could have been an option.

i dont mean programming impossible, i mean physically it would be very difficult.

I love the wheels on my mark three of the quick controller on the 30D once you learn the directional control its a breeze to get to the focusing point you want.

Nope, this was my first MkIII gripe :) ;)
Imagine adding the controller, and then not letting us use it for it's best feature :(

at least now you have a controller ;)

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
