I took some shots of the LDS Temple in SLC, Utah over the weekend and it looks as if it is about to tip over in a large percentage of them. I don't think that I hold my camera that skeewompas. I know that this is a common thing when shooting wide angle at tall buildings - but I have a lot of correcting to do with the shots I got over the weekend. Wanted to see if anyone else had seen the same thing with their "nifty sixty".

Wanted to see if anyone else had seen the same thing with their "nifty sixty". There are few 'building shots' in this thread really that I can compare against. if you are talking about getting a bit of a "fisheye" effect, then yes, I notice that too. Self portrait taken at 24mm. The vignetting (dark corners) are a photoshop effect, but you can see the fisheye effect on my face a bit

That looks pretty bad music, I'd be tempted to send it in. Is that the full frame, or is it cropped? Derek

As I said, the dark corners I did myself in photoshop (since I kinda liked the overall effect) Gripped 70D, Sigma F/2.8 OS, 70-200L F/2.8, 300L F/4 IS, EOS M5, 18-150, 22 2.0

It looks like the camera right side of your face it much larger and distorted than the left. Derek

I didn't... it was like $208 for the lens and $12 shipping. Either way this is a steal since the lens MSRP is $500, and everywhere else it is $375 or so. Has anyone gotten there from them yet? I am just a little skeptical, and wouldn't have ordered it without the protection of Amazon... No idea how they do it, but they have some crazy deals on stuff sometimes. They aren't gray market lenses either, because many have sent theirs in for service and had no problems. Derek

The other lens bargains Cameta offers include (or included) the Sigma 15-30mm DG EX and the Sigma 17-35mm DG HSM EX. I imagine none of these would be particuarly popular for crop dSLRs at standard Sigma EX prices. Yep they've been out of the Canon version of the 15-30 for months now and won't be getting anymore in (I called them). Derek

I made a couple of 'test calls' to them while waiting for my 24-60mm and they were johnny on the spot answering the phone and my questions re: my order.
