The edges of the Salt Marsh and about every beach road brush line is full of Yellow Rump Warblers. They are coming through in big flocks heading South.
Here are a some from the last few days. All hand held w/ the 500 f4 on a BushHawk - C/C Always - Bob

Had this Loon fly by while I staked out the small guys. Loons are showing up
in fair numbers to their Wintering spots along the coast.

Very nice set Bob. I'm waiting and hoping to see some come through here before it snows. :)

Nice shots - warblers are always so hard to get. Interesting that the loon is banded.

Liz, The Loons are under so much stress here in the NE that lots of tracking is going on so lots are banded - I have been working on an article about a group on a VT lake and seen bands on most birds. Bob

These are great shots Bob! Great job on the little ones. The "nice dress" is totally cute!
And there's a Loon shot you never see, the underside of the bird.

Nice series here Bob. It makes me wish that I was back on the coast.

Really nice shots. I didn't realize these warblers are so tiny. I really like # 2.

very nice series Bob, the winter flocks seem to like an area not far from my place, if I can get time to get there.
