I read something a while back - can't remember where - about a company that will convert a 10, 20, or 30 D into an ultraviolet camera by modifying the sensor. Does anybody have any experience with this and/or know who the company is?
Thank you.

BillBoehme Enjoy being spanked More info | I also strongly suspect that it is infrared and not ultraviolet. An ultraviolet picture would be mostly dark except only under very bright sunlight. Any residual UV would be greatly attenuated when passing through the glass lenses. BTW, the IR filter in front of the sensor is actually a bandpass filter (as opposed to a highpass filter) so any residual UV gets stopped there. Atmospheric haze in images? Mark_Cohran Cream of the Crop More info | Oct 16, 2007 11:31 | #6 There have been several members here who have had the IR conversion done by Lifepixel, and I think one of the owners of Lifepixel is a member here as well. If you do a forum search for IR conversion, you could PM one of those members for more details and information. Mark
