OMG! That iso 3200 looks really great!! It is significantly better than my 5D would have done.

The 1DmkIII goes to 6400. The 1DsmkIII only goes to 3200.

The 1D MIII does 6400. I don't think the 1Ds does.

I only have one uploaded rite now, but here is a test shot at ISO 6400.

Left is no processing, right is prossed in lightroom only.

and those 1ds shots are nothing special at all ..the same old story again ...except overwhelming amount of pixels ....not much has changed ...14 bit in certain situation does improve gradation but looking at those samples i have mix feelings ...take a look at shadows created by his hair on the forehead ...even at iso 1600 looks very flat ..and shadows are horrible as for each and every digital slr ... purely IQ wise manufacturers seem to run in circles for the last 5 years or so ...except pixel count improvement is marginal ....no?

3200 ISO in good light is not the best test, try the test in low light instead.
