drogos Goldmember 1,269 posts Likes: 1 Joined Jan 2007 Location: CHICAGO More info | Oct 16, 2007 17:33 | #12 and those 1ds shots are nothing special at all ..the same old story again ...except overwhelming amount of pixels ....not much has changed ...14 bit in certain situation does improve gradation but looking at those samples i have mix feelings ...take a look at shadows created by his hair on the forehead ...even at iso 1600 looks very flat ..and shadows are horrible as for each and every digital slr ... purely IQ wise manufacturers seem to run in circles for the last 5 years or so ...except pixel count improvement is marginal ....no?
