Did Hull Fair last week. I've posted them up on Picasaweb. The night shots were particularly difficult as the very low wattage bulbs on the rides dont really create a workable light level so freezing the action was a problem. Also I used a 24-105 Canon L series which performed very well but I couldnt get far enough back from he rides without crowds of people in front. I did the day shots using a my Canon 10-24mm which was much easier. The ariel shots were taken from a 150ft big wheel but here the scratched perspex pods did nothing to help the L series glass! I work on the fair as the exclusive supplier of drinks, Shifting 250,000 cans didn't leave much time for photography so the job was rushed
Any ideas on how I could have done that bit better
