Was going to order a Canon Powershot G9 on Sunday from B&H for $499.99 and then when I went back I saved $40 because it is now $459!!! That is like getting free shipping with the camera. Living in Canada I saved about $120 dollars from buying it from the States because it is $600 bucks here and that is not including an extra battery and my bill was only $542 US! I cant wait to get this camera! G series rocks!!!

Went down on Amazon too.

I just got mine today. Was looking at it on Sunday morning and it was $469. LAter that day, it was $450. Ordered it, the 430ex flash and the Canon underwater housing. Have a honeymoon (and wedding) in Hawaii next month. Hoping to get my first underwater shots.

$449 at your local Circuit City. No shipping and you have an easy return plus 30 day price guarantee but you would have to pay local taxes

I forgot to mention, if you read online about the 10% off coupon from AAA, that can drop the price even more. Search the DPReview forums or the forums at fatwallet or slickdeals.net on how to get one of these coupons.

Amazon. The other day it said ships in 2-3 weeks, yesterday it said it would ship in 2-3 days. I leave on 11/7, as long as it arrives prior I will be happy.

There is also another thread that points to another link from another company that supposedly had it in stock.

I just checked Amazon again and it says in-stock. $186 w/free Super Saver Shipping.

Well sorta, you have to purchase a printer with the camera to get the 50 dollar rebate, much like the rebates you see at B&H

I actually paid 457 shipped 3-5 days, I thought it was 467, it should be here very soon. It will hold me over until I get my 40D.

I share that with you my friend. Will be getting a 40D at some point to replace my aging (yet still awesome) 20D. But being with out a P&S since selling my G6 6 months ago has been agony!

I just sold my 20D and it is funny, because I purchased a 300 4.0 IS and a 100 2.8 Macro and I dont have anything to put it on!

The cheapest I seem to be able to find one for in the UK is £293.00 which is about $600.00. whereas $450 is about £219. Wish I could get it for that here. Do you folks in the US have to pay extra taxes and stuff on those prices?
