USS Shoup ( DGG 86 ) 56K Warning

Taken while on deployment of 06' this was taken in the middle of the pacific ocean and the USS Shoup is about to refuel side by side with USS Abraham Lincoln ( CVN 72 )

Beautiful shot! When I first looked at it, my first impression was that of one of those extremely lifelike paintings, where even the finest details were given their due. Very nice! Show us more!

needs post processing LoL!

I like the look, but the brighter sky draws my eye to it.

On my monitor (always shows a bit dark) there appears to be a shadow/smoke on the left side of the image (or maybe over burned?) Otherwise great shot! makes me wish I could have afforded a nice camera when I was in...back when they used stone cameras with the little bird inside like on the Flintstones...(1973-1979)

wow looks sweet, what makes the image look that way? It didn't just come out of the camera like that did it?
