I'm using a PC. Whenever I first go to "export" some images (say to generate some .jpg's for the client), I click on "Export", then in the destination window, click the "Choose" button and there is a pause, followed by a window that pops up with a title of "Sign in with Windows Live ID". If I click cancel, it pauses again, then immediately re-appears! If I click its "Cancel" for a second time, it then goes away and presents me with my drive & folder list.

Thereafter, I get the pop-up ONCE every time I select "Choose" on the export to destination window.

This is so annoying! Does anyone have the same problem - or more importantly - know how I get rid of this pop-up?

I don't use messenger, or hotmail - and this only seems to appear when using Lightroom!

Thanks guys.

TJ

Many thanks for that. Unfortunately, this seems to apply to Vista (whereas I am using XP SP2)

I can go to User Accounts - Manage Network Passwords - but there are none shown in the list.(?)

I'd say backup your prefes and make Lightroom recreate them. Then select a different path for the export. For the life of me, I cannot export to desktop. So lightroom has some issues exporting to paths in it. I've had to kill my prefs a number of times to export properly to my "//Lightoom Exports" folder. Give it a shot.

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
Full frame and some primes.
