How on earth did you manage to get such a close shot of the goose in particular and so sharp hand held? Also the sparrowhawk shot at such close range - you are obviously a very skilled bird photographer  Linda Hi Linda, thanks for the kind comments. The Goose was at my local duck pond and there is a sunken viewing area which gives a nice low viewpoint - the shutter speed was 1/1600 sec so hand holding was fairly comfortable. TOP BIRD SHOTS
