canonloader Cream of the Crop  More info | Oct 17, 2007 20:59 | #1 Apparently the IEEE 1394 driver comes on the Digital Solutions Disc with the 1D and later versions didn't need it. I got the 1D, but with copies of later version discs and the firewire connection doesn't see the camera with this driver. Anyone know where I can get it? Mitch- ____...^.^...____

Oct 17, 2007 23:24 | #5 I have EOS Viewer and DPP. It's not under My Computer or Hardware Profiles. I know there is a way to get at the camera settings through ZoomBrowser, but I don't have that either. The problem with the Canon downloads is, those are only Updaters. Oct 18, 2007 08:35 | #9 Thanks Ray, but I got it last night after I posted that last. I found a Zoombrowser to download and installed it. I guess the registry stuff was already in there from the 30D installed stuff last year. At any rate, I went to Hardware Manager and there was the Canon entry. I needed to enable the driver, update it and everything went fine from there. Mitch- ____...^.^...____
