I have a neoprene Lowepro case that holds 8 or 10 cards and clips to a belt or fits into a pocket. I also flip them around when they are full.

I think I have the same one. It's like $7.99 from McBain, right? hahha

I use two of them and they're strapped on my belt so it NEVER leaves my body. Those are much more valuable than my markII/24-70/580II !!!!!

I use two. Empty cards in right case, full cards on the left.

Looks like this but holds cards instead of filters:

Don't know why Lowepro doesn't show this wallet on their website anymore. I see it in stores all the time.

This response is to help other newbies. I did my first wedding this year in April. I didn't have pockets on my pants and didn't realize how fast things would go. I just stuck one that was full in the top inside part of my pants. Bathroom break came around and it had a quick visit with the toilet. The story is much longer but I'll leave it at that.

Luckily, photos were in tact and life went on as normal. Needless to say, I make sure I have pockets or I keep my canon card holder on my hip. I have several brands of cards (San Disk, Lexar, etc.) but I'm really stuck on Transcend since that one survived that hectic moment.

wow! glad those photos came out good for ya! thats quite a story and kind of why i'm looking for a new solution. the current holder i have holds the cards very loosly when it is full. they have fallen out (thankfully not in a toilet though) :)

I think I do have the same one as you...but I've never seen it at McBain...I bought it off of E-bay for $2.99 or something like that.

Do you know the model of the wallet you have?

I have heard a few times that some photographers dump their CF cards to their laptops as soon as they are full.

Do you guys have assistants?

I do not have an assistant, as of now I have enough memory to get me through the day so I dont worry about downloading during the day.

I have 16gb of CF storage. I was just wondering why/how some people dump their cards during a wedding. I see, to be too busy to step away.

After extensive market research and calculation, I concluded that 36GB of CF and SD cards was and is a more feasible option than a laptop and assistant of the non-familial slavery ie paid type-- especially factoring in that my family members are neither the type I'd take to a wedding nor computer literate.

Same as Toogy. Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket. I clip it to my belt loop and stick it in my front pocket. I figure that even if all of my gear is stolen, I've still got the cards.

I use two Lowepro DMC-V cases that can hold 4 cars each. They usually stay on my belt. I only have 6 cards right now, so that works for me.

i wish i could fit 4 cars in my garage let alone on my belt! ;) :p
