I took some shots of Jim's '68 AMX a few weeks ago. Here are a few variations we considered.

love it and those cragers look awesome on it. But this isn't one of your normal shoots :P

I like the first one the best, the others look too processed. For instance, the yellow road lines are reflecting in the bumper but there's no lines below the car. I see in the final one you tried to remove them but it doesn't work for me. Maybe you could try to add a red reflection in the bumper?

True. This one was for money. :D

road lines are reflecting in the bumper but there's no lines below the car.

Proofs? "variations we considered." before I finished the PP.

Maybe you could try to add a red reflection in the bumper?

Objective was to (1) make the AMX look good for a wallhanger, not to include every real-life reflection, and (2) to get paid. ;)

Thanks for the comments.

Actually, I put the thread here so I could link it to a few Tuts, but no problem. Around here you better expect opinions whether you want them or not? And they're free bumps, something that you sometimes can't get if your life depended on it? :D

A related Tut: Need to remove a background from something?

I like the last one where you photoshopped out the background through the driver's side window.

...photoshopped out the background through the driver's side window.

That part takes a lot of time with the clone & brush tools.

can you teach us how you'd do it in Photoshop PhotoGuy?

See the links in the link in post #6 above. It just takes time. I do it while I watch TV. ;)

Here's a screenshot of the Palettes to get you started.

Well, thanks! The thing is, I keep telling you guys that this stuff isn't really that hard & you keep shooting nice looking cars in crappy garages?

Since you're new here, Maybe I'll get a convert? Some reading:

Different strokes! You never know what someone is going to like. The bike owner loved the pole in the shot he picked:

As you know, I LOVE poles growing out of vehicles. And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one
