I've been thinking about picking up two of these for mobile portrait, group and wedding work. (meaning weddings, as well as sports, school, reunions, etc.)

Norman 400 Watt/Second Portable Battery Assembly Kit:

Anyone used Norman and have anything to share? If so, how do you compare them to Lumedyne?

I have this unit as well as a 200B. I will admit though that I don't use them very often. The 400 WS unit is a real work horse and well made but the battery/power pack is heavy.

Thx Rick, but I should have mentioned... these will be brolly/stand kits, not cam flashes. I have 580's for that.
