Hello:

You seem to spend a lot of time creating admirable pictures of creepy crawlies.
I was just wondering, when was the last time you saw a White Admiral?
I have not seen one on the south coast for, well, must be over 10 years now.
Are they extinct?

Hi - certainly haven't seen one in my garden in the last 3 years.

Thanks all!

I have seen one, just not in recent years.
I have mistaken the female purple emperor for an admiral before.
I wondered if it was another type wiped out by insecticide abuse in the UK!
