Color or black and white? I need to put one of them in my "people portfolio".

Not that i love this picture so very much, but i get a ton of great reactions from people about it, so i have to use it... Open to critiques, but please vote first and foremost.

Right now I'd have to say B&W...I think the color one has potential, just needs to be a bit brighter (levels) and the colors need to pop a bit more (saturation boost). So since those areas are lacking I have to say the B&W in this case.

Once you fix the obvious lighting issue, I'd go with the colour.

I agree with color. On my screen, I tend to lose his head into the background. Heck of a cute kids though!

The lighting is not a problem, it was done like that to add to the effect. the compression also killed the range a bit in the conversion.

I have a million pics of this kid in perfect lighting, and it gets really boring really fast. PLease see my galleries if you wish. the single point light and harsh shadowing were just a play i was having.
