I've got a big bag that I just leave in one place. I carry two bodies with me 50% of the time. During the ceremony I've got a body with a long lens, and a body with a shorter lens. I usually wear a belt system too, so I can switch lenses easily.

My system for now:

2 cameras on my person (70-200 permanently affixed to one).
2 spare lenses - chosen on the day - in a lowepro beltpack (sideline shooter I think?).
Everything else in a Crumpler Karachi Outpost backpack nearby.
Lighting gear goes in its own bag as needed (except for my 580EX's, which are usually on my cameras).

does anyone have a photo of the inside of their shootsac? the other thing i have been considering is a thinktank belt pack that holds camera and lens or several lenses. or a lowepro slingshot. these along with the stealth reporter would be nice to hold the camera i am not using so its not always dangling around my shoulder.

I carry two bodies on my person and use a small waist bag for batteries and cards. My assistant minds the other gear, which is stored in a shoulder bag and a roller bag.

Two bodies are on me at all times, and I have a fanny pack (the four dollar alternative to a belt system) with spare batteries & CF cards. That leaves my main bag just with the back-up bodies & flash and I try to find somewhere safe to put that, but I really don't like leaving that amount of gear left unattended.

Interesting design. Are the pouches padded?

I use a Tamrac 5552 wheeled bag to get the gear there(two bodies with lens attached), then carry most of it on me during the wedding

I just got my Shootsac also... it's great to carry lenses around in and it's comfortable and light. I don't have any pics of the inside of mine but you can check out the Shootsac website at:

Click on "view more images" about halfway down the page and you'll get a better idea of the style of bag.

Got tired of the bags - have all of them I think. ;) Decided to give Tommy Cobert's suggestion to use a belt system. Now I looked like either Tim-the-Toolman Taylor, Marshall Dillion, or Batman with a loaded 70-200 off my hip. But, so far it does seem functional. I hate two bodies strung around my neck. Love the long lens in a holster - no strap. My wife hates the belts. Guess it's a guy thing. --The Cap'n

The only thing I hate about the belt is the bulk. It's a pain to get around those tight reception halls.:)

I just use a LowePro computrekker AW if I'm solo. It should be enough for what you are carrying. It even fits a 36" reflector into the laptop compartment!!

This is getting a little creepy...Lloyd and I use the same memory card pouch and also the same bag.

I like my Computrekker for hiking and general travel...and it's a good bag for schlepping my gear around...but I really dislike it for weddings. The first problem is that it's a backpack, so access is quite slow...you have to take it off, lay it out, open it up etc. Also, the way that it opens, you pretty much have to lay it out on it's back and open the whole front part. I really hate that because you have to put the straps onto the ground (or whatever) to open it up. Plenty of times, I have been in a location where I didn't want to put the straps onto the ground.

I also have an old Lowepro shoulder bag that is configured to hold a camera with bracket and flash, so that I don't have to assemble or disassemble it.

I really like the square shoulder bags because the bottom is always the bottom. I could set it down in a mud puddle and it wouldn't matter. I could still get the gear out and pick it back up without getting too dirty.
