I live in the Ft Lauderdale area. My job involves driving so I get a chance to see much of the tri-county area (Dade, Broward, Palm Beach).

While visiting Tree Tops Park in Davie, I was surprised to see a Maple tree with changing leaves that reminded me of my trips to New England.

Since I will not make it to the northeast this year, I was wondering if anyone here could share his or her recent fall foliage photos with the rest of us.

(I can only reflect back on the spectacular sceneries along route 100 in central Vermont, Route 103 in New Hampshire and the Kancamagus highway.)

Those are lovely images. Our leaves are just beginning to change here due to the excessive heat. It was probably in the upper 80's today, which is about 30 degrees or more above the norm.

We don't have many deciduous trees here in Orange County...
I wish we had seasons.

Here's one I took this morning (pretty foggy this morning!). Hope to get some more this weekend.

To be honest, the crazy weather seems to be having an impact on the foliage here in southern CT. Its still pretty green, but the leaves are dying off of some trees.

These are all beautiful images. Unfortunately, here in Alabama, it has been so dry this Summer that the only colorful trees that we have are all of the ones with the dead brown leaves. It is very bad around here right now.

So... keep sharing the great shots! :-)
