I got my 30D as a refurb and hoping to do the same with the 40D. Just wonder how long after new release do refurbs start to show up. If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.

Refurbs come from bodies that have been bought, returned within the return period, and then sent to Canon, recertified, and sent back.
